    CHIROPRACTIC FAQ

  • Is it OK to see a chiropractor if I'm pregnant?

Anytime is a good time to see a chiropractor and improve the function of your nervous system. Many changes take place in the spine, muscles, ligaments and joints during pregnancy that can lead to pain and discomfort. These changes coupled with the inability to take many medications during pregnancy, make the natural approaches of chiropractic a logical choice for pregnant women.

Many chiropractic tables can be adjusted for, or have accessories specifically designed for the pregnant woman. During pregnancy, as always, the doctor adapts the adjusting technique to the patients current health, size, weight, age and past health history.
